A first for everything

In all my years since high school, I don’t think I’ve ever intentionally “cut” a class, other than for sickness. Next Monday night will be my exception.

“Dynamics of Biblical Change” will have to dynamically change without me, because Indelible Grace Tour Band is coming to town! They’ll be at New Life PCA Glenside on Monday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. I’ve missed every other chance to hear them in concert, and I’m not going to miss this one!

Christiana, will you be there?

I support missing class on occasion.

I’m Geof Morris, and I approve of this message.

  2. Roger Says:

Good, because I’m missing a class (maybe two…I’ll need to sleep in the next day) to see Mark Schultz in concert.

  3. the Foolish Sage Says:

Nothing like Christian brothers to support your sin!

  4. mb Says:

Mark Schultz is coming to my parent’s church, but he is only opening for..do I even need to say it?…Avalon. Ugh. Maybe I’ll leave after Mark is done. :-)

Obviously the censor software for the Rumor Forum does not work on its related blogs….because the A***** word got throught!

Woohoo! Christiana and the LSW will finally meet!

  8. Roger Says:

I was surprised when I called to order tickets for the “concert on Nov 4th” and they said “the Avalon concert?”

My wife likes them, and I don’t mind them at all. It was win-win.

Hey, some of us like Sugar Coated Chocalate Fruit Blasters for breakfast, too.

    back!

ahh, Roger, we’ve got a friend who is trying to get us to go to that concert… but *blech* I wouldn’t waste my chance at a night out on that

    It only gets better…

Just found out that the I-Grace band is going to also be at our Westminster chapel the next day!

I’m auditing a course on how the Gospel changes people. It’s a counseling course at a nearby seminary where I took classes 15 years ago. My wife and I are both auditors, in fact: Monday night I zip home from…

i’m the wife of irreproachable honourableness (don’t ask, i don’t get it either…) and i certainly approve of missing class to see indelible grace. i saw them at church a few years ago and was blown away, so for those who are coming, you will definitely enjoy!

    Dear classmates:

Hope we haven’t started a mass exodus from the Dynamics class. Poor Dave Powlison will have his own issues to write about if we all ditch him for IGrace!

Perhaps we can meet up at the concert; I’ve posted a picture of Karyn and me to the left for the next few days so you’ll know who to look for.

  15. Irreproachable Honourableness Says:

I’ve posted my photo on my BlackBoard “home page” (the page for the Dynamics class), as have you. (Look in the roster under “Lusk”, since I don’t use the name “Honourableness” when registering for classes.)
