so today was pretty good…i FINALLY heard from the insurance adjustor. he’s filed my claim and forwarded it to the main office. i hope to have my check next week. i’m going to call and see if i can move it along, but lately they haven’t been much help over the phone. once i talk to the contractor and find out when he can start, i can really think about getting my house fixed. that would be a ginormous weight off my shoulders.

earlier tonight i went and bought a new chainsaw. i can’t wait to use it on the trees that are still laying in my yard. i have a couple of friends hopefully that will be able to monitor my progress, so have no fear.

the coldplay show has been postponed. no telling what will happen, but at least it hasn’t been officially cancelled yet. but based on the other shows i had tickets for going from postponed to cancelled, i’m not holding my breath. we’ll see.

now i’m just hoping i wake up tomorrow and rita has still kept going west. this hurricane stuff is just ridiculous.
