paint and powerball…

so this weekend i have started the process of painting. my kitchen looks like a completely different place now with paint on the walls. i’ll post pictures of the finished product. right now my fridge is in the middle of my kitchen because i had pulled it out so i could paint behind it, and the room just has a lot of stuff in it right now. i am going to do little by little to put the first coat in the kitchen/breakfast room on before i leave for the weekend, then really attack the project over mardi gras (i have two days off!).

my run of luck with the powerball lottery ran out this weekend. i had won $3, then $7, so i figure logically the next step would be $365,000,000, but sadly someone in another state won the jackpot. oh well.

I love the single that’s out by the Fray! And I was in Oregon when I heard about the powerball winner! (Some dude in Nebraska, wasn’t it? We don’t have powerball in California so it completely stood out when I heard about it on the radio.) Better luck next time.

P.S. Do you even know where you’d begin to spend 365,000,000?

I was wondering if my ticket hit or not. Guess not.

I’d begin spending it on my friends and family. Not buying stupid stuff, but taking care of them. Pay off my mom’s house. Pay off Faith’s parents’ house. New cars that work all the time. Then I’d probably find a few charities that need some help. I’d buy some music stuff like a piano and guitars and crap. Then I’d do a lot of traveling. Faith and I have always wanted to go to Italy. And of course, I’d never miss another concert because the tickets were $35.

i’ve been listening to the fray a lot the past week or so.

i would start by giving some of it away to church and friends. from there, i’d buy a new house, new car, who knows.
