i just saw the latest tour schedule for nickel creek. it’s a known fact that 2007 will be their last year as a group, at least for a while. it’s disappointing to say the least, because their shows are some of the best i’ve ever been to. (if you have not seen them ever, and think you might like them, then GO!) anyway, they are playing both mobile and new orleans the first week of the tour in april. i’ll probably try to hit both, and bring that ryan adams mix cd for sara watkins (i don’t think my friends would let me NOT bring it). [so remember when i said i offered her my phone number? we had talked about wilco, radiohead, ryan adams, and she asked me to make her a mix cd. i'm sure she tells all the boys that though. btw, since that posting, i'd like to retract my crush on kelly clarkson after seeing a youtube video of her at a show with the dude from yellowcard.] plus since i saw tweedy last month, i have more to say about wilco other than “i thought YHF was overrated!”
