The lines here are crazy, especially if your work schedule has you in the office for most of the voting hours. IMHO, I think the presidential election day should be on a Saturday or everyone have that Tuesday off. We should place more importance on this day. Love your blog, btw. Medical students can vote absentee in SC for "helping the sick." It looks like I'll be doing this for a while now because I'm supposed to be on duty almost every day hopefully starting in July, even holidays. I did not wear red on Tuesday or Wednesday, however. I did get teary-eyed several times, however. We watched the speeches online on Mel's laptop in bed - pretty neat experience. I voted absentee and LOVED it. I had to study all day, so I didn’t want to wait > 1 hour in a line like my wife did. I love Election Day. I live and work in the same very small down so there was no line. I wore red shoes on Tuesday. And I were all blue on Wednesday. HA! I didn't get a sticker either. Do they sell buttons that we can reuse from year to year. Maybe I should have worn my " I like Ike" sun glasses. HA! I don’t like the idea of voting early either. I love Election Day.
