1 – made good progress at work, then stopped by the gym on the way home
2 – finished all the stuff at work i’d been working on for the past couple of weeks….it is finished (for now)
3 – went to the Club of the Sons album release party
4 – grilled out with my parents, had fun watching USA/Grenada and NASCAR, along with my neighbors’ decision to spend a lot of money on fireworks
5 – fun birthday party for a 1 year old with coffee punch, then a lazy Sunday afternoon watching golf
6 – stopped at Target on the way home for some milk, and found Milano cookies in packs of 3 in the dollar bin
7 – went for a run in the late evening after it had rained all day
8 – new pull up record at the gym
9 – drove over the new Twin Span!….also, went to a new bible study that might be something
10 – ZZ Top LIVE!
11 – had some awesome pizza from Dominos
12 – watered the plants out front while it lightly drizzled
13 – made scrambled eggs with celery, bell pepper, tomato, and red onion…..it was great!
14 – got a sweet parking spot at work; learned about the secret arrow in the FedEx logo (not sure if that’s a good thing)
15 – two concerts in one night at different venues? going to try it.
16 – helped plan the first family vacation in 11 years to go see Paul McCartney for my sister’s birthday
17 – made up a recipe for wilted spinach as a side item for dinner
18 – set out to accomplish 4 things (water plants, run, give blood, haircut), and got 3 of them due to getting a free pint of ice cream for giving blood….so the haircut was postponed
19 – got a call from a friend i hadn’t talked to in months
20 – listened to the real time audio of the Apollo 11 moon landing and them setting foot on the Moon
21 – got home from work, cut my grass, drank a High Life…..it was a good evening
22 – got a good haircut at a new hair cutting place….though it was a bit awkward at times
23 – house church
24 – wine and poetry night
25 – bought peaches at the farmers’ market….then had a peach milkshake at CFA
26 – post church lunch with my mom; bought new running shoes i actually really REALLY like
27 – Chandler/Okafor trade was AMAZING…..also watched Dating in the Dark, it was like watching a train wreck
28 – felt good about what i accomplished at work
29 – got extra towel stamps at the grocery store
30 – went out to dinner with work friends to celebrate a friend’s promotion (and then he paid!)
31 – got some info on grad school and closer to figuring out what i want to do about it
