Geof posted about his blog being a “personal archive,” and that he writes what he writes there more for himself than for his readers. This is so true of my blog here too…A lot of what I put on here is for my amusement, and for me to remember what happened in my life. However, I can’t get away from the feeling that those rare posts of mine that are serious or introspective, may actually serve a purpose to the outside world. In that extremely rare case, I hope I say something that helps you somehow. I mean, I owe you something, don’t I? You ARE reading this craptastic stuff.

Also, I think some of my reasons for continuing to post things here are a bit selfish in the fact that I get excited when I go to my referral log and see a lot of new hits…I like it when I see comments…It gives me a sense that someone is interested in my life. And that’s comforting.

Who knows? It’s a crazy thing, the human mind.
