The latest in Joe’s music world

I thought I’d post a little about what I’ve been blaring lately, what music’s been playing on my computer, and in my car.

Yes, I know I’m stealing the idea from Andy….back off.

So here are the cd’s that I can’t seem to get enough of. Some are new, some have been staples in my players for months already.

Kanye West - College Dropout - I’ve been tearing this one up in the car almost constantly since I got it right before we left for SuperWow. SUCH a talented rapper and producer. I can’t get enough of it.

Watashi Wa - The Love of Life - A new Toothandnail artist…killer cd. FANTASTIC cruisin’ music.

Matt Wertz - twentythreeplaces - Yes, it’s still playing. I can’t escape the Wertz-man. It’s impossible

Gavin Degraw, Pete Schmidt, Matt Nathanson, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Mutual Admiration Society, and Marc Broussard live bootlegs from archive.org. Killer…just killer.

Bleach - Astronomy - You’d think I’d run out of stuff to listen to…but all this stuff gets steady rotation, I swear. I listen to this one in some of my “emotional” times. Especially the song “Patience.” It hits me. Hard.

That’s all for now. Although I could do this all day.

I was very sad when Watashi Wa cancelled their show at Cornerstone. I’ve only heard a couple songs by them, but I really liked what I heard!

Pete Schmidt. His April 13th show is amazing. Also, Marc Broussard.
