I feel so special
Okay, so I just realized that I was passed a musical baton from Chris The Cakeboy. I was hoping this would happen eventually.

Five songs that mean a lot to you?
“Table For Two” - Caedmon’s Call; An ode to my singleness, I wish I could capture the ponderings of my mind the way Derek Webb does here.
“Nothing’s Ever Enough” - Derek Webb; This one hasn’t been on the list very long, but since my family’s recent struggles and fight with church bureacracy, this song has rung so true with my heart. Derek wrote the song about his inevitable leaving of Caedmon’s…but for the past few months, I listen to it and think of a pastor and his congregation.
“Until You” - Dave Barnes; My favorite love song, dedicated to the woman of my dreams…maybe I’ll actually find her someday.
“Everything” - Lifehouse; Perhaps the most worshipful song I’ve ever come across. Chills…everytime.
“All I Know” - Matt Wertz; My favorite song to play/sing at church. And so true. I’m glad I don’t know much…
Top five albums?
Dang…that’s pretty hard. Okay. Let’s see.
40 Acres - Caedmon’s Call; probably the most consistently amazing album I’ve ever come across in my life
Burning In The Sun - Blue Merle; a recent discovery…quickly becoming my favorite band
Jars of Clay - Jars Of Clay; Along with Caedmon’s self-titled and dc Talk’s infamous Jesus Freak, one of the first albums I owned…and still one of the best.
Brother, Bring The Sun - Dave Barnes; Had to include everyone’s favorite prettyboy, no album has gotten more play since I started driving. Perfect summertime windows down cd. Southern blue eyed soul.
The Guest - Phantom Planet; Because I needed a straight rock band…and these guys are incredible.
Last album bought?
Lifehouse’s Self-Titled disc. Got it today. Pretty good.
Recent discoveries?
Blue Merle, Frou Frou, Iron and Wine, The Postal Service
Passing on the musical baton.
Okee doke, I’m gonna give it to…
